Impact Crusher Blow Bar

High Chrome Cast Blow Bars for Horizontal Shaft Impact Crusher

Product Overview

Blow bar is the core rotating wear spare part fitted on the rotor of horizontal shaft impact crusher (HSI). As the rotor spins at high speed, blow bars strike incoming rock material violently, throwing stones against impact plates for repeated crushing. It takes the main impact and abrasive wear during operation.

Blow bars are consumable cast components and need periodic replacement once worn. They are widely used for primary, secondary crushing and sand making in quarry, aggregate plant, sand washing production line. Different alloy grades are selected based on raw material hardness and abrasiveness.

Disclaimer: All products are compatible replacement wear castings, not genuine OEM original brand parts.

Working Principle & Core Function

  • High-speed Rock Impact: Rotating blow bars hammer raw stone and accelerate material into impact aprons for fragmentation.
  • Bear Heavy Impact & Abrasion: Absorb continuous shock and sand abrasion, protecting rotor assembly.
  • Control Finished Aggregate Shape: Produce cubical stone, ideal for high-quality construction aggregate.
  • Modular Installation: Easy to mount and dismount on rotor, reduce crusher maintenance downtime.
  • Flexible Alloy Options: Choose proper blow bar material for soft rock, medium rock or highly abrasive hard stone.

Material & Structure Features

Available Material Grades

  • High Chromium Cast Iron (21% / 27% Cr) — most popular for medium abrasive rock
  • Martensitic Alloy Steel — for heavy impact, less abrasive stone
  • High Manganese Steel — for large lump, high impact conditions

Product Features

  • Precision casting, matched locking grooves for rotor fit
  • Heat treated casting for optimized hardness & toughness
  • Anti-crack performance under cyclic striking impact
  • Custom profiles and mounting dimensions for different crusher models

FAQ

Q: What is blow bar used for?

A: Blow bar is rotor-mounted wear part for horizontal impact crusher. It hits and breaks rock materials to produce cubical aggregate and manufactured sand.

Q: Which blow bar material should I choose?

A: High chrome (27%Cr) for limestone, river sand and medium abrasive rock. Alloy steel for heavy impact large stones. Manganese steel for extreme impact applications.

Q: Can you produce blow bars for different impact crusher models?

A: Yes, we can produce blow bars according to crusher model, part number, drawings or physical samples.

Q: How often to replace blow bars?

A: Service life depends on material abrasiveness. Limestone: several weeks; hard basalt may wear much faster. Replace when impact efficiency drops or thickness is too low.
