Green Hydrogen Plant EPC
Green Hydrogen Generation System Coupled with Mine Renewable Microgrid
This standalone turnkey green hydrogen plant EPC module can be sold and delivered independently. It accepts fluctuating renewable power from wind-solar-BESS microgrids, producing high-purity green hydrogen as feedstock for green ammonia synthesis. The system is engineered for remote, dusty mining locations across Australia, Africa and Latin America. It can operate as a standalone unit or seamlessly integrate with upstream renewable power facilities and downstream ammonia production assets.
Scope of Work
- Raw water treatment & purified water preparation system for electrolysis
- Alkaline / PEM electrolyser stack & power conversion system, wide-load flexible operation
- Hydrogen gas separation, drying, purification unit to meet green ammonia feed specification
- Hydrogen compressor, medium-pressure hydrogen storage tanks and buffer vessels
- Hydrogen safety system: gas detection, flame & explosion monitoring, hydrogen flare, ventilation & inert gas protection
- Power & signal coordination interface, communication gateway for integration with upstream microgrid EMS

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A1: Yes. The electrolyser supports continuous load adjustment between 20%~110% rated capacity. It receives real-time power commands from the upstream EMS to consume surplus renewable power automatically.
A2: Electrolysis requires purified demineralized water. For arid mining areas, raw water can be supplied by seawater desalination or mine wastewater reuse system as an optional auxiliary package.
A3: Hydrogen leak detectors, flame sensors, emergency shutdown ESD, inert gas purging, hydrogen flare and forced ventilation. All safety logic interlocks can connect with upstream power and downstream ammonia plant controls.
A4: EMS will send signal to reduce electrolyser load. Surplus power can be diverted to mine loads or trigger coordination logic with green ammonia plant to raise ammonia production rate.
A5: Normal stack lifetime 8–10 years under stable operation. We provide stack spare plan, remote monitoring and on-site maintenance training for local mining team.
A6: Yes. This is a standalone EPC module. It can work with any third-party renewable power source, or connect to our wind-solar-BESS microgrid module.
