Electric LHD (Load‑Haul‑Dump / Scooptram) Series
Models:FL07E|FL10E|FL14E|FL25E
Product Introduction
Electric LHD (Load‑Haul‑Dump machine, also known as underground scooptram) is a specialized articulated mining loader integrating three core functions: Load, Haul, Dump. This cable‑reel electric series is powered by external mine high‑voltage cable, generating zero exhaust gas inside tunnels and reducing mine ventilation pressure significantly.
Four models cover payload range from 7 tons up to 25 tons for different cross‑section roadway sizes. The whole machine adopts CAN‑bus communication and self‑developed electronic technician system for real‑time operating data monitoring, fault diagnosis and historical record storage. Full‑variable load‑feedback hydraulic system improves energy‑saving performance and working cycle efficiency. Horizontal constant‑tension closed cable‑reel mechanism ensures stable cable retracting & releasing. Operator cab complies with ROPS & FOPS anti‑roll‑over and falling‑object protection standard, with dual vibration‑damping design for comfortable operation. SAHR spring‑applied hydraulic‑release wet multi‑disc brake provides fail‑safe braking under slippery underground conditions. CE and ISO certification documents can be provided on request. Motor power, cable length and auxiliary functions support custom modification for global mining projects.

Core Key Advantages
- Cable‑reel electric power, zero underground exhaust: No diesel emission underground, lower mine ventilation requirement, improve underground working environment.
- Articulated chassis ±42.5° steering angle: Compact turning radius, good mobility for confined underground mine roadways.
- ROPS & FOPS certified full‑enclosed cab: Anti‑roll‑over and falling‑object protection, dual vibration‑damping suspension seat, air‑conditioned cab, emergency escape window for operator safety.
- SAHR fully‑enclosed wet multi‑disc fail‑safe brake: Spring‑applied, hydraulic‑release braking system, reliable performance under damp, slippery underground roadway conditions.
- Intelligent CAN‑bus & Electronic‑Technician monitoring: Real‑time machine condition reading, self‑diagnosis, fault history record, convenient for mine equipment management.
- Constant‑tension horizontal cable‑reel: Prevent cable over‑stretching or winding disorder during frequent forward‑reverse operation.
- Modular design & rich options: Remote visual control, centralized fire‑suppression system, automatic central lubrication, weighing system are optional. CE certification available.
Application Scenarios
- Underground Metal & Non‑metal Mines: Ore loading, hauling and dumping operations for gold, copper, zinc, nickel underground mines. Match different roadway cross‑sections by selecting FL07E / FL10E / FL14E / FL25E models.
- Large‑scale tunnel projects: Muck loading & transporting for large diversion tunnels.
- Global market fit: Well‑suited for mining contractors in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia. For Australia and Canada, local safety certifications shall be completed before deployment, targeting non‑coal underground mine projects. Not suitable for coal‑mine environment without special explosion‑proof modification.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is LHD / Scooptram?
A1: LHD stands for Load‑Haul‑Dump. It is underground mining equipment that completes ore loading, short‑distance hauling and dumping in one machine. “Scooptram” is the widely‑used common name for this type of underground loader.
Q2: What is the main difference between these four electric LHD models?
A2: Main difference is rated payload, bucket volume and overall dimension. FL07E for small‑medium roadways; FL10E / FL14E for medium‑large mines; FL25E is the heavy‑duty 25‑ton model for large‑section mine roadways ≥6 m × 6 m. Core chassis, brake, cab and control architecture are consistent across series.
Q3: Can this cable‑reel electric LHD work in coal‑mine underground?
A3: Standard configuration is for non‑coal metal mines. Special explosion‑proof high‑voltage electric modification is required for coal‑mine working conditions.
Q4: Can you provide CE certification documents?
A4: Yes, CE & ISO certification documents are available upon request for export mining projects.
Q5: Can I customize cable length, remote‑control or fire‑suppression function?
A5: Yes. Cable length, remote visual control, centralized fire‑suppression system, automatic lubrication, on‑board weighing system and other auxiliary functions can be configured according to mine‑site requirements.
Q6: What is typical production lead‑time?
A6: Normal production lead‑time is around 3‑5 months, subject to model selection, optional configurations and production schedule.
Q7: What does the warranty cover?
A7: 12‑month warranty after equipment commissioning or 18‑month after shipment date (whichever comes first). Consumable wear‑prone spare‑parts such as bucket teeth, tires, hoses, filters are excluded from warranty scope.
Q8: Do you supply operation & maintenance manuals?
A8: Multilingual operation, maintenance and spare‑parts manuals are delivered together with each machine. Overseas on‑site technical training service can be arranged as extra service.
